Description
A pollen mixed with honey and shaped by the foragers, naturally fermented within the hive
Rich in protein, this organic beehive product is one of the bee's main nutrients: you too can
enjoy its natural benefits for breakfast!
What is bee bread?
Little known in France and rarely harvested by beekeepers, bee bread is one of the colony's
essential foods, along with honey. Taken from the pistils of flowers, the pollen is transported
by the worker to the hive. It stores it in the alveoli, mixing it with its own secretions, and
making successive layers of packed pollen and honey. Once the cell has been filled, the mixture
ferments naturally within the hive, transforming the pollen into a superfood highly sought after
for its energy and nutritional properties
